Ride-Hailing Driver Shoots Man Suspected of Attacking Woman

STANTON, Calif.—A 20-year-old man who was allegedly attacking a woman in Orange County was shot by a ride-hailing service driver who intervened, leaving the man fighting for his life at a hospital Monday, June 3. The driver shot the suspect about 7:45 p.m. Sunday in the 7100 block of Custer Way in Stanton, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
