Woman Found Dead at Home in Huntington Beach

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.—A woman found dead inside a home by police officers was determined to be the victim of a homicide, authorities said Saturday. Officers were dispatched at about 2:30 p.m. Friday to a residence in the 1100 block of England Street regarding a report of a possible suspicious death, the Huntington Beach Police Department reported. They made entry and discovered the woman’s body, “Evidence at the residence indicated that the death was a homicide but an isolated incident,” police said in a statement Saturday. “Although the suspect is still outstanding, detectives believe there is no ongoing threat to the public or community.”...
