In the Dallas area, storms with up to 80 mph straight-line winds ripped off roofs, downed trees, and knocked out power lines At one point, more than 1 million homes and businesses across the state were left without electricity, but about 75 percent were back up and running by late Wednesday. Electric utility provider Oncor said power should be restored for most of its customers in the Dallas area, but some outages will continue into the weekend....
