
Bakery to Close Shop in San Francisco, Where Finding New Hires Is No Piece of Cake

Third Culture Bakery, home of mochi treats and other sweets, will close its San Francisco location citing difficulty finding and keeping employees. Based in Berkeley, owners Sam Butarbutar and Wenter Shyu opened their San Francisco location on Irving Street three years ago during the COVID-19 pandemic.
