Police Investigating Robbery Spree in Los Angeles and Orange Counties

ANAHEIM, Calif.—A convenience store robbery early May 20 in Anaheim appears connected to a spree of heists in the city and elsewhere, police said. Several suspects clad in black and dark clothing ran off with the stores’ cash registers into a dark-colored SUV getaway car, Anaheim police Sgt. Jon McClintock said. The most recent robbery was at 1 a.m. at a Circle K at 3899 E. Riverdale Ave., Mr. McClintock said. The others were at a 7 Eleven at 775 N. East St. about 10 p.m. Sunday and a Shell Gas Station at 3080 E. La Palma Ave. about 10:21 p.m. Sunday. Investigators suspect the robberies are connected to one in Fullerton and several others in Los Angeles County, Mr. McClintock said....
