US General Rules Out Notion of Sending Military Trainers to Ukraine—For Now

The United States has no plans to send military trainers to Ukraine, General Charles Brown, chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, has said. “Right now, there are no plans to bring U.S. trainers into Ukraine,” he told reporters on May 20. “Once this conflict is over, and we’re in a better place, then I would suspect we would be able to bring trainers back in,” Washington’s top general added.
