3 Wounded in Robbery at Southern California Supermarket

CLAREMONT, Calif.—A 27-year-old felon was being held in lieu of $2 million bail May 18 for allegedly robbing a supermarket in Claremont and hiding the handgun used in the crime under a vehicle at a nearby business. Three people suffered gunshot wounds during the robbery at Super King Market, 436 Auto Center Drive, and were taken to a hospital in stable condition, according to Lt. Jason Walters of the Claremont Police Department.
