Presumptive 2024 Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s campaign confirmed that he will host a campaign-related event in New York City’s South Bronx for the first time. A news release issued by the Trump campaign on May 17 said President Trump will visit the South Bronx’s Crotona Park on May 23 at 6 p.m., coming after his court session ends, to criticize his Democratic opponent, President Joe Biden, and what he described the “disastrous” effect he’s “had on our economy.” Some media outlets described the Bronx event as a rally, but The Epoch Times has not been able to independently confirm those claims.
