The man accused of breaking into Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass’s mansion in April told a local radio station he was on a five-day drug binge at the time and didn’t know it was her house. In an exclusive interview with reporter Jon Baird of KNX News on May 13, Ephraim Matthew Hunter, 29, said he has no interest in politics and can’t even vote. “He didn’t target her,” Mr. Baird said in a report Monday.
