Minnesota legislators have officially enacted what is colloquially known as the “Taylor Swift Bill.” On May 7, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz endorsed House File 1989, a nod to Taylor Swift’s birth year and album title, solidifying it into law. This legislation mandates Ticketmaster and other event promoters disclose additional fees upfront and prohibits ticket resellers from peddling counterfeit tickets.
