Commons Leader Publishes Guide to ‘Conspiracy Theories’ for MPs

The leader of the House of Commons has published guidance instructing politicians on how to spot and combat “conspiracy theories.” On Tuesday, MP Penny Mordaunt launched a guide to conspiracy theories, published with the charity Antisemitism Policy Trust, highlighting what the guide characterised as their detrimental impact on “trust in democratic institutions.” Commissioned by Ms. Mordaunt, the report was compiled by groups including Full Fact, Tell MAMA (Measuring Anti-Muslim Attacks), and the Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD).
