Father and Sons Charged for Entering US Capitol on Jan. 6

A father and two of his sons have been arrested and charged for entering the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. William Gallagher, 55, a Georgia resident was charged in court documents dated May 6 with felony obstruction of law enforcement during civil disorder and several misdemeanor counts after FBI agents confirmed Mr. Gallagher went into the Capitol at approximately 2:26 p.m. and then helped a crowd outside force its way into the building. Mr. Gallagher faces up to eight years in prison if convicted. Mr. Gallagher’s sons, James Gallagher, 22, and Thomas Gallagher, 25, were also hit with four misdemeanors, including disorderly conduct in a Capitol building or grounds and knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority....
