Homeless Man Held After Woman Is Stabbed in Culver City Parking Lot

A 38-year-old reportedly homeless man was arrested May 5 in Culver City after police say he stabbed a woman numerous times in a shopping center parking lot. The suspect reportedly did not know the victim, according to Culver City police. The attack appeared to be “unprovoked and random,” police spokeswoman Jennifer Atenza told The Epoch Times. Police responded to a report of a fight in the Westfield Culver City parking lot at the 6100 block of Slauson Avenue, about 11 miles west of Los Angeles, at about 2:45 p.m. Sunday.
