Commentary Ontario Premier Doug Ford and the PCs recently announced the speed limit for large stretches of several highways will be increased. An estimated 36 percent of highways controlled by the province, including Highway 401, will see the speed limit move up from 100 km/h to 110 km/h as of July 12.
