Nationwide Recall for 16,000 Pounds of Ground Beef Over E. Coli Concerns

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is recalling over 16,000 pounds of raw ground beef due to suspected E. coli contamination. E. coli infection can cause a range of symptoms, each one unpleasant in its own way. It is not uncommon to experience diarrhea, stomach cramping, vomiting, or nausea if the bacteria are ingested. The elderly and young children are most at risk to adverse reactions, and those with suspected cases are encouraged to seek medical care immediately.
