
Crash Between USC Bus, Metro Train Sends 18 to Hospital

LOS ANGELES—A collision involving a Metro E Line train and a USC Transportation bus in the Exposition Park area April 30 resulted in 18 people being taken to hospitals and about three dozen others treated for minor injuries at the scene. The crash occurred shortly before noon in the 900 block of West Exposition Boulevard adjacent to the USC campus, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. Two people—believed to have been aboard the bus—were taken to hospitals in serious condition, according to the LAFD.
