
More Than 70,000 Student Jobs Up for Grabs This Summer Through Federal Program

Canadian students looking for work in the coming weeks have more than 70,000 options open to them as part of the federal government’s Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) program. CSJ is an initiative aimed at connecting students looking for work with companies looking to fill summer job openings. With openings in the not-for-profit, public, and private sectors, there’s a variety of opportunities available for students between the ages of 15 and 30, the government said in a press release. Companies are hiring until July 22 with the average placement lasting eight weeks although job listings on the Job Bank range from six to 16 weeks and offer 30 to 40 hours per week....
