Humza Yousaf has resigned as Scotland’s first minister as his government faced two votes of no confidence following the decision to break up the power-sharing agreement with the Green Party. The SNP has been operating as a minority government after Mr. Yousaf, last week, ended the Bute House Agreement—which shared power with the Green Party—following recent policy wrangling around net zero and gender ideology.
