
5th Person Charged in Connection to Kidnapping, Killing of Two Kansas Moms
A fifth suspect was arrested and charged in connection with the deaths of two Kansas mothers, officials announced on Wednesday. Paul Grice, 31, faces two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of kidnapping, and one count of conspiracy to commit murder in the first degree “based on the evidence and information gathered from the case,” according to an Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) statement. Court affidavits filed in the case revealed that Mr. Grice admitted to OSBI agents he was involved in the kidnapping, killing, and burial of the two victims. 27-year-old Veronica Butler and 39-year-old Jilian Kelly vanished on March 30 while traveling from Kansas to nearby Oklahoma to pick up Ms. Butler’s two young children from a birthday party.
