Man Arrested in Attack on Metro Bus Driver in South LA

The man who brutally attacked and nearly killed a Metro bus driver this month was found and arrested April 24 shortly after noon, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Darnell Marshon Bray, 30, was booked at the South Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station on suspicion of attempted murder, and his bail was set at $2 million, authorities said. Mr. Bray is accused of punching a Metro bus driver in the face and stabbing him at about 8:30 p.m. on April 13 in the unincorporated area of Willowbrook, just north of Compton.
