Another State Passes Legislation to Give Hope, Treatment to the Terminally Ill

Mississippi has become the third state to pass legislation to allow potentially lifesaving care to the terminally ill and allow these patients access to individualized treatments that bypass federal government red tape. Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves signed the “Lifesaving Treatment Act” this week, and there was unanimous bipartisan support for the bill in both chambers of the state Legislature. It will remove government barriers for patients suffering from rare and life-threatening diseases and allow them to work with their doctors for treatments for their own specialized care.
