
Primal Kitchen Cooking Oil Recalled Over Safety Concerns: FDA

Primal Kitchen is voluntarily recalling more than 2,000 cases of avocado cooking oil because the glass packaging may break, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced on April 22. The FDA said in a recall notice that the company discovered the issue through an inspection at the Primal Kitchen warehouse. The notice pointed out that some of the bottles are “prone to breakage,” which may present a safety hazard. “It was noticed that avocado oil had leaked in shipping containers,” the California-based company said.
