
Man Arrested After Los Angeles Mayor’s Home Burglarized
A Los Angeles man was arrested following a break-in at Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass’s residence early in the morning on April 21. Los Angeles police said a burglar smashed a window at about 6:40 a.m. to enter the Getty House, the official mayor’s residence located in Windsor Square, which is five miles west of the Los Angeles City Hall. “The Los Angeles Police Department responded and took a suspect into custody without incident,” the LAPD posted on X Sunday. No one was hurt and nothing was stolen during the burglary, according to police. Ephraim Matthew Hunter, 29, remained in jail Monday and was charged with felony burglary in connection to the break-in.
