
Iraqi Terrorist Group Denies Involvement in Reported Attack on US Forces in Syria

Kataib Hezbollah, an Iraqi Shiite terrorist group with ties to Iran, has denied reports that it has resumed attacks on U.S. forces deployed in the region. The denial comes a day after two U.S. bases in northeastern Syria were reportedly targeted by missiles and drones fired from launchers in neighboring Iraq. Not to be confused with Lebanon’s Hezbollah, Kataib Hezbollah is regarded by Washington as a terrorist group despite its links with the Iraqi government.
