
UK Government ‘Deeply Concerned’ Over Beijing’s 25 Years of Persecution of Falun Gong
Downing Street said the UK government is “deeply concerned” as the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China has lasted for 25 years. Benedict Rogers, co-founder and deputy chair of the Conservative Party Human Rights Commission, said the persecution of the spiritual practice shows the communist regime can not be a reliable business partner, and called on the government to stop business as usual.
