Man, Teen Held in Connection with 13-Year-Old Boy’s Killing in Anaheim

ANAHEIM, Calif.—A man and a teenager were in custody April 18 in connection with the fatal shooting of a 13-year-old boy in Anaheim in what police called a gang-related killing. The shooting occurred around 4:15 p.m. Wednesday in the 2800 block of West Ball Road, where the teenage victim was found with at least one gunshot wound. The boy was taken to a hospital, where he later died, according to Anaheim police. Officers searched the area and arrested a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of murder and 20-year-old Bryan Gonzalez of Anaheim for allegedly being an accessory to the killing, police said.
