Suspects in 2 Robberies Allegedly Used a Taser to Threaten Store Employees

LOS ANGELES—A 35-year-old man is behind bars while two women are still being sought April 18 in connection with a pair of robberies carried out by suspects armed with a Taser. Antwaun Pollard was arrested April 5 following a robbery at a retail store that occurred around 2:20 p.m. that day in the 4000 block of South Main Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Police said Mr. Pollard and two unidentified women went into the store, picked out merchandise and tried to leave without paying, but they were confronted by store employees. Mr. Pollard allegedly threatened the employees with a Taser, and the suspects left....
