Trump: Hush Money Trial a ‘Scam’

Former President Donald Trump described the current hush-money trial in New York City as a “scam” and “election interference” on Monday, the day set for jury selection to begin. President Trump claimed he is being politically prosecuted through this and other trials, and also said to reporters that the judge in the case, Juan Meacham, may not grant him his request to see his son Barron’s graduation on May 17, as the trial is expected to continue through that date.
