
Wild Police Pursuit in South LA Ends With Murder Suspect’s Arrest

A murder suspect was arrested in South Los Angeles on April 11 after leading police on a wild high-speed pursuit during which the suspect crashed into at least three cars and a parked big rig. The pursuit started around 9:30 a.m. near Western and Slauson avenues, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Drake Madison said. Overhead footage from a news camera, which joined the chase after some damage had already been done, shows the suspect driving a stolen maroon car and being followed by multiple LAPD cars. The suspect crashed into two vehicles at the intersection of Vermont and Slauson avenues but kept going. A Metro bus on Slauson was able to stop in time to avoid a collision....
