An artificial intelligence-powered chatbot rolled out in New York City that has reportedly advised small business owners to break the law will continue to remain accessible to the general public, Mayor Eric Adams has said. Speaking during a press conference on Tuesday, Mr. Adams, a Democrat, acknowledged that the chatbot—meant to help small businesses and cement NYC’s position as a “leader” in the responsible use of innovative AI technology—”is wrong in some areas” and needs to be fixed.
