Former President Donald Trump has stated that he would like to “make both sides happy” on the issue of abortion, leading some to question whether he’s taking a middle path, or compromising with the left on some issues while standing his ground on others. In a recent interview on Fox News, President Trump said people seem to be coalescing around the idea that abortion should be banned after 15 weeks, saying that it could be a unifying issue for the country. “The number of weeks now, people are agreeing on 15 [weeks],” he said. “And I’m thinking in terms of that. And it’ll come out to something that’s very reasonable. But people are really, even hardliners are agreeing, seems to be, 15 weeks seems to be a number that people are agreeing at.”...
