Police Raid Sports Medicine Clinic in $4 Million Steroid Bust

Detectives have seized 17 luxury cars and $700,000 (US$455,839) in cash as part of their investigation into a Melbourne sports medicine clinic owner allegedly selling steroids. Officers on March 28 raided Melbourne Sports Medicine and Anti-Aging Clinic at Moonee Ponds, in Melbourne’s northwest, where they allegedly found a large amount of illegal prescription medication including steroids and human growth hormones. The raid followed a five-month investigation and detectives arrested 55-year-old Robin James Taylor—the alleged business owner—at a factory at Somerton in Melbourne’s north a short time later.
