A man in his 70s who was believed to have a bomb was shot and killed by police during a bank robbery in the Orange County city of Fullerton on March 26, the Fullerton Police Department said in a statement. The incident occurred around 5:09 p.m. after police responded to a robbery in progress at the Wells Fargo Bank at 141 W. Bastanchury Road. The masked suspect entered the bank and demanded money from a teller. He then produced a white box that he said was a bomb and threatened to detonate it, according to the statement.
