Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), a leading critic of former President Donald Trump, announced on March 25 his endorsement of Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks for the U.S. Senate. “She’s going to deliver for the people of Maryland every day as United States senator at the same time, she’s going to be defending democracy against Donald Trump and the MAGA right,” he said in a video posted on X, formerly Twitter.
