Government Announces Commons Debate Into Excess Deaths

Leader of the House of Commons Penny Mordaunt has announced there will be a three hour backbench debate next month to discuss “the COVID-19 pandemic response and trends in excess deaths.” This follows pressure from a growing number of MPs and peers as well as a number of letters to the government from respected scientists and statisticians to urgently examine whether the increase in excess deaths is connected to the COVID-19 vaccinations.
