
2024 Primary: Orange County Election Preliminary Results
Turnout among Orange County voters was 36.7 percent in the March 5 primary, according to unofficial results from the county registrar, updated March 13 at 5 p.m. Out of 1,819,334 registered voters, 667,665 cast ballots either by mail, submitting their ballot at a certified drop box, or voting in person at a vote center. Here are updated results. April 2 is the last day the election must be certified. Board of Supervisors With current 1st District Supervisor Andrew Do ineligible for reelection due to term limits, Orange County is set to welcome at least one new supervisor to its ranks. 1st District State Sen. Janet Nguyen maintains a strong lead in the race, surpassing Cypress Councilwoman Frances Marquez with 43.55 percent of the vote compared to Ms. Marquez’s 26.11 percent.
