The Supreme Court issued a unanimous decision in former President Trump’s Colorado ballot case. The justices wrote that Trump should remain on the ballot, and that states do not have the power to remove candidates using section three of the 14th amendment. Former chief financial officer of the trump organization, Allen Weisselberg, surrendered to the Manhattan prosecutor’s office, and pleaded guilty to perjury. He was sentenced to five-months in jail. Prosecutors said he lied under oath during questioning in trump’s civil fraud trial.
