
15 Auto Companies Recall Thousands of Vehicles Across Canada Over Safety Risks
Fifteen automotive companies have issued safety recalls for thousands of vehicles this week, including a number of luxury sedans. While the bulk of the recalls affected trucks, SUVs, and cars, a handful of trailers and motorhomes were also impacted. Listed on the Transport Canada website, this week’s recalls include: Toyota Toyota is conducting a safety recall on the 2022–2023 Toyota Tacoma. The company said approximately 21,035 vehicles are involved in the recall. Welding debris may have been left on the ends of the rear axle assembly during the manufacturing process, the company said. This could cause retaining nuts to loosen over time and eventually fall off, causing a part to separate from the axle. Separation could affect vehicle stability and brake performance, increasing the risk of a crash, the company said....
