Utah Lawmakers Advance Bill Combating CCP’s Forced Organ Harvesting

A Utah Senate committee has advanced a bill on Feb. 21 aimed at combating one of the Chinese regime’s most horrific crimes: forced organ harvesting. The Utah Senate Health and Human Services Committee passed the Organ Transplant Amendment, SB 262, on Wednesday afternoon, making it one step closer to becoming a law. The new legislation, introduced by state Republican Sen. Michael McKell, would bar insurance providers from paying for an organ transplant or post-transplant care if such operations were performed in China.
