Greek-Flagged Ship Carrying Humanitarian Aid to Yemen Targeted by Houthis, US Says

Iranian-backed Houthi terrorists fired ballistic missiles at a Greek-flagged bulk carrier carrying humanitarian aid to the Aden port in Yemen on Feb. 19, according to the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM). CENTCOM said in a statement that the M/V Sea Champion, a U.S.-owned cargo vessel, was delivering grain “for the benefit of the Yemeni people” when the Houthis fired two anti-ship ballistic missiles at it. The crew continued on their course to their final destination despite one of the missiles detonating near the vessel and causing minor damage, the U.S. military stated.
