Body of Chemical Attack Suspect Abdul Ezedi Found in Thames: Met Police

The body of the Abdul Ezedi, the suspect wanted for a chemical attack on a woman and a child in London, has been recovered from the River Thames, police believe. Detectives working on the investigation have yet to complete the formal identification of the body, found by the Metropolitan Police’s Marine Policing Unit on Monday. Police have been searching for Ezedi since Jan. 31, after an alkaline attack that evening, which injured his 31-year-old ex-girlfriend, her 3-year-old daughter, and Ezedi himself. The attack took place on a quiet residential road near London’s Clapham Common area. As a result, Ezedi’s girlfriend was hospitalised, while her second daughter, four members of the public, and five police officers also suffered injuries....
