President Joe Biden on Friday reacted in a speech to the death of Russian politician Alexei Navalny, a prominent critic of the Kremlin, accusing Russian President Vladimir Putin of assassinating him. “Russian authorities are going to tell their own story. Make no mistake. Putin is responsible for Alexei Navalny’s death,” President Biden told reporters. “What has happened to Navalny is yet more proof of Putin’s brutality.
