
Police: Personal Dispute Sparked Shooting That Left 1 Dead at Kansas City Rally
A preliminary investigation of the mass shooting in Kansas City, Missouri, has found no links to terrorism, police said. “This appeared to be a dispute between several people that ended in gunfire,” Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves told reporters on Thursday morning. The Feb. 14 shooting left a 43-year-old woman dead and 22 others wounded, including children, Ms. Graves said during the press conference. Initially, there were reports of 22 victims in total. “During the overnight hours, we learned there are 23 victims of yesterday’s shootings,” Ms. Graves said. “One of our victims, Elizabeth Galvan, 43 years old, died.
