
FOI: Met Office Can’t Substantiate BBC Claim That Climate Change Is Intensifying Storms

According to a Freedom of Information request, the Met Office has not been able to back up a claim it said on the BBC that storms in the UK are “more intense” due to the effects of climate change. Publishing the Freedom of Information (FOI) request on his notalotofpeopleknowthat blog on Wednesday, climate change policy critic Paul Homewood wrote that he looked into claims on a BBC News report that aired the day after Storm Isha last month.
