New York Has ‘10,000 Openings’ for Asylum Seekers in State Workforce: Governor

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul is seeking to employ illegal immigrants to work in the state workforce, claiming she has 10,000 unfilled jobs available to employ the individuals. “Hotel owners and restaurant owners [have come] to me: ‘Can you send some of the migrants up here? We need them.’ I hear this in every corner of the state,” Ms. Hochul said during a press conference last week. “I have 10,000 openings in the New York State workforce.
