
Military Helicopter With 5 Marines on Board Is Missing

A helicopter carrying five Marines has gone missing. The Marines departed on a CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter from Creech Air Force Base in Clark County, Nevada, and were supposed to land at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in California on Feb. 6, a spokesman for the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing told The Epoch Times via email. The aircraft has been reported as overdue, sparking search and rescue efforts. The military is being assisted by agencies including the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE), the U.S. Border Patrol, and the U.S. Forest Service.
