President’s Brother James Biden Set for Private Interview With House Oversight Committee

James Biden, the brother of President Joe Biden, is scheduled to sit for a private interview with the Republican-led House Oversight Committee amid the GOP’s impeachment inquiry into the president. The House Oversight Committee said James Biden will appear for “a transcribed interview” on Feb. 21. The committee in November subpoenaed him and the president’s son, Hunter Biden, for depositions. “We look forward to his testimony,” the committee stated on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Feb. 1. The House GOP lawmakers voted in December to authorize the inquiry after months of investigations by Republicans who alleged that President Biden and his family personally profited from policy decisions he made as vice president during the Obama administration....
