LAS VEGAS—A man convicted of fatally shooting two Northern California women near the Las Vegas Strip almost eight years ago has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Omar Talley, 38, was sentenced Tuesday after a judge reprimanded him for his lack of remorse, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Mr. Talley’s defense attorney argued that his client had apologized to the victims’ families, but Mr. Talley interrupted him to again state that he only expressed his “condolences” and claimed he was not involved in the killings, the newspaper reported.
