Texas Gov. Abbott Says ‘Border Wall’ Construction Will Go On

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said that border wall construction will continue near the U.S.–Mexico border, coming after a Supreme Court ruling this past week regarding razor wire. In a video posted on Jan. 30 on social media, Mr. Abbott wrote, “Border wall construction is ongoing along the Texas-Mexico border.” He added that Texas “will continue to use every tool and strategy available to defend our southern border.” The video shows what appears to be a metal wall being carried by heavy machinery.
