The Pentagon lacks a coordinated and “overarching” approach to UFOs and may have missed national security threats, according to its internal watchdog. An unclassified summary of a report from the Pentagon’s inspector general (IG) noted that the Department of Defense (DOD) lacks a “coordinated approach” to address unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), commonly known as UFOs.
